PERFORMER
T-33

We are excited to have the Ace Maker “Film Knight” T-33 fly at the 2022 CIAS. One of the last built Canadair CT-33 Silver Star built for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). It was later upgraded with a larger Nene 10 Rolls Royce Engines with extra thrust over the regular version. This jet retired in 2002 from the Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE) in Cold Lake.
Piloted by LCol (Retired) Rob “Scratch” Mitchell who many of you remember as a former CF-18 Demonstration team pilot as well as former Team Lead of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. Scratch is a 3rd generation fighter pilot as well as a former team member of the United States Patriots Team based out of California. Scratch also flies the “Film Knight” which is equipped with “very cool camera gear” for his aerial film work.
